  • Firstly, to fix Canon Printer Error Code 1403, you must switch off your printer. Also, disconnect it from the power source. Carefully hold and open the lid of your printer. Hold the printer carriage securely and slide it over. Take off the printhead from your printer.

  • Secondly, make use of some cotton swabs and dip them into the mixture of isopropyl alcohol and hot water. Use this liquid mixture to clean the printhead of your Canon printer. You can even apply this mixture to clean the cartridges. 

  • Also, ensure that the printer ink doesn't remain anymore and cleaned out of the printhead. Let the ink cartridges go dry. Once the cleaning process is done, put the ink cartridges back to the printer. Carefully place them with the printhead. Now, close the top lid of the printer. 

  • Please make sure that the printhead or cartridge is not open from any side or position. You can now connect back your printer to the power source. Switch on your canon printer.
